Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, phone number, email address, service address, and the details of the work you ask us to quote or perform. As we work with you, we also keep records of your quotes, appointments, invoices, payments, and the messages exchanged between you and our team. Like most websites, our site may automatically collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view; the site is hosted on Wix, whose cookies and analytics are described in Wix's own privacy policy.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your inquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and perform work, send appointment reminders and job updates, deliver invoices and receipts, process payments, provide customer support, and keep our records accurate. We may also use it to improve our services and, only if you have agreed to receive them, to tell you about seasonal services or promotions. We use Jobber, a field-service management platform, to manage scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and customer communications, including calls and text messages.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile phone number, you agree that we may contact you by call or text message about your quotes, appointments, jobs, and invoices. These are conversational and transactional messages such as appointment confirmations and reminders, arrival notices, job updates, quote and invoice notifications, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not send further texts unless you opt back in. For help, reply HELP to any message, call us at 972-921-5923, or email altavillalandscaping@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the sharing described in this policy excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business: with service providers who help us operate, such as Jobber (scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and messaging), payment processors, and our website host, Wix, each of which may use your information only to provide services to us; with subcontractors or suppliers when necessary to complete your project; and when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including secure, access-controlled business systems and industry-standard service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to review, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by calling 972-921-5923 or emailing altavillalandscaping@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may keep certain records as required for tax, legal, or accounting purposes.

Children

Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version will always be posted on this page.
